Dear Colleagues,
In our journey in neonatal and pediatric nursing—strengthened by knowledge, deepened through experience, and grown by solidarity—we are delighted and excited to share a very special milestone for our profession this year.
It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 5th Neonatal Nursing Congress, to be held 29 October–1 November 2026 in Antalya, and to the 1st Turkish-Hellenic Pediatric Nursing Congress, which will be organized concurrently.
In line with the valuable feedback received from our colleagues last year, and in order to meet associate professorship criteria, we have decided to organize our event in both national and international congress formats. In this process, in addition to neonatal nursing, we have expanded the academic scope by including pediatric nursing—one of the main disciplines in nursing education—within the scientific program.
Abstract awards will continue this year, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Golden Abstract Awards will be evaluated separately for both Neonatal Nursing and Pediatric Nursing fields.
The official languages of the congress will be Turkish and English, and simultaneous interpretation will be provided during the sessions. Current and evidence-based practices and global developments in neonatal and pediatric nursing will be discussed through conferences, panels, workshops, and interactive sessions.
In line with the recent themes of the International Council of Nurses (ICN), strengthening nurse well-being and emphasizing the importance of the nursing workforce will continue to be among the core focus areas of our congress. We sincerely believe that, on these meaningful dates when we will celebrate the enthusiasm of 29 October Republic Day together with a scientific ceremony, participants will enjoy a highly enriching and pleasant congress, complemented by thoughtfully planned social programs alongside scientific sharing.
